What we’re about

Hello, fellow baker! My name is Kinda, and I love baking and being around people who enjoy hobbies. I’m hosting my first-ever baking club, and I’m so excited for you to be a part of it. I think hobbies and an open mind are a great way to connect with people. I’ve been in Canada for eight years now, and I’ve been looking for a baking club ever since we moved here. So finally, I was like, heck, let me start my own!
🥧🥧🥧
If you’re looking for a chill experience sharing baked goodies with a friendly group, you’re in the right place! Bake something of your choice, following the theme of each month however you see fit (more on that below), and bring it to share with the rest of the group. You’ll get to try what everyone baked! We’ll chat, chill, and share our baking successes, and you know what? Even our baking failures! Everyone is welcome, as long as you’re over 19 and under 150.
🍩🍩🍩
How it works:
You can sign up for each month individually for a small fee of $5. Each meet-up will have a one-word, fun and flexible theme. For example, if the theme is the word “hot,” you can interpret it as rigidly or as creatively as you like. Is it served hot? Is it spicy? Is it eaten on a hot day? Is it a cookie shaped like a sun? Who knows! We all get to be surprised by your creation.
🧁🧁🧁
What to bring:
•Your baked goods according to the theme. Please make sure you’re bringing 12 servings for everyone to have one if they’d like.
•A container to pack your share of everyone’s baked goods in case you don’t want to eat them during the meet-up.
•A list of ingredients for people with allergies/food restrictions to check.
•A positive attitude and mindset. We’re not here to harshly critique each other’s creations. As bakers, we all know that sometimes baking works, and other times it doesn’t. We want to make sure everyone has a good experience, even if their creation didn’t come out as expected.

Location and atmosphere:
We’ll meet at my home in Kanata, where my husband and I live with both of our cats. There will be tea, cute thrifted dishes and cups, napkins, cutlery, serving spoons/knives, sofas and chairs, and soft, cozy music in the background.
My cats are super friendly and will probably come say hi, maybe even beg for a taste! Please don’t feed them! In the case of a member of the club having an allergy to cats, I’ll put them upstairs. Otherwise, they’ll be somewhere around!

My house is in the Bridlewood and Stonehaven area in Kanata, 5 minutes away from T&T in Kanata. The exact address will be sent to you upon signing-up.
🥐🥐🥐
Allergies:
I cannot guarantee that any baked goods will be free from allergens or cross-contamination as this is not a controlled environment. Please use your own discretion when choosing what to enjoy.
