This International Mother’s Day, celebrated in many countries around the world, The Kind Circle invites you to a hands-on workshop using eco-friendly materials to honor the women in our lives whether it’s a mother or a nurturing figure we deeply appreciate.

What Is It About?
Together we’ll create handmade gifts from fresh pandan (bai toey) leaves, beloved in Thai culture for their scent, beauty, and practical uses.

Choosing pandan for Mother’s Day also honors Mother Earth. The following day is Thailand’s Royal Ploughing Ceremony, which marks the start of the planting season and celebrates the abundance of the land. In this spirit, we connect gratitude for Mother Earth that sustains us with appreciation for the mothers and nurturing figures who have cared for us.

What to Expect
🌹 Pandan Rose Folding
Learn to turn long pandan leaves into beautiful aromatic roses. When dried, they become rustic vintage keepsakes.
šŸŽ Pandan Gift Box Making
We’ll make a small traditional five-sided box for holding a light gift, heartfelt note, photos, or even auspicious seeds symbolizing growth and prosperity.

Who Is It For?
✨ Anyone interested in learning a traditional Thai craft
✨ Anyone wanting to make a heartfelt handmade gift for a mother, caregiver, or someone they appreciate
✨ Anyone looking for a relaxing afternoon of creativity and connection

We look forward to spending an afternoon together, turning humble leaves into treasures of the heart šŸ’

This is a free community event. In eco-friendly workshops, the materials are a small treat from the organizer to help create an inclusive space where everyone can feel welcome.
