Bangkok is home to people from many different countries, and we’d love to create a welcoming space where anyone can come together to share, learn, and appreciate each other's cultures and traditions that make our world so beautifully diverse.

What Is It About?
After Halloween, we’re coming together to honor Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead), a vibrant and heartwarming Mexican tradition dedicated to remembering and celebrating loved ones who have passed on. In this workshop, we'll learn about the symbolism behind this holiday through crafting colorful tissue paper art inspired by their beautiful traditions.

☞ Did You Know? ☜
Día de los Muertos is not a spooky occasion, but a joyful and deeply meaningful family celebration of life, memory, and connection! Rooted in Indigenous Mesoamerican traditions and shaped by centuries of cultural exchange, it centers on the belief that the spirits of ancestors briefly return to visit the living. Bright orange cempoalxóchitl (marigolds) are believed to help guide spirits back with their vibrant color and scent, while delicate papel picado (cut paper banners) symbolize the wind and the lightness of life.

What To Expect
