Welcome to The Kinfolk Clique.
This is a space by and for Black folks and people of color in Hampton Roads who want to vibe, nerd out, and build real community without code-switching or feeling out of place.
We’re into anime, gaming, movies, books, cosplay, music, D&D, card games, etc.
Whether you're loud or introverted, a seasoned con-goer or just discovering your blerd identity, there's a place for you here.
This group is for you if:
You’ve ever wanted to meet other BIPOC nerds IRL
You miss having a regular crew to chill with
You’re new to the area (or just tired of fake friendships)
You want a safe space where being your full self is celebrated
We host all kinds of events. Game nights, karaoke, movie meetups, dining, tabletop nights and other various group outings.
We keep it respectful, inclusive, and drama-free. This is desgined to be your safe space and chosen fam in a room full of strangers who (hopefully) won’t feel like strangers for long.
