What we’re about
Welcome to our Medieval Fantasy Meetup group, where we bring together fans of Renaissance Fairs, Social gatherings, festivals, and live-action role-playing (LARP). Whether you love dressing up in elaborate costumes, immersing yourself in fantastical worlds, or engaging in epic battles (we do love a good boffer fight), this is the place for you. Each person makes their character with their enriching back story that comes to life in our group. Join us for meetups filled with magical moments, creative storytelling, and endless adventure. Let's unite to celebrate all things medieval and fantastical!
Now that we have your attention, a little about us! We are a small group looking for like-minded adventurers who love medieval fantasy, roleplay, and storytelling. Although we will meet up in the Triad area, the festivals and events will be all over NC (and sometimes beyond). We use festivals and fairs as our backdrop, creating light role-play moments to weave our ongoing stories together. Our focus isn’t just on the destination—it’s on the people who bring the world to life.
Each event follows this structure:
⚔️ Court Gathering – Roleplay as fantasy creatures or various medieval personas as we set the stage for the day's events.
🎭 Main Event – Engage in thrilling activities such as festival games, boffer combat, or live-action quests!
📜 Final Court Session – Shape the ongoing story with intrigue, diplomacy, or declarations of war!
To help new members get acquainted, we’ll be hosting a few meet-and-greets—a perfect chance for you to get to know us and for us to welcome you into the fold. Please note our events (beyond the meet-and-greets) will be private until we get to meet new members and help them create a persona to join in the festivities.
No prior experience is needed—just bring your imagination and a sense of adventure.
Join us and become part of a living, breathing fantasy world.
