We are meeting on 1/8/2026
This meetup session is a safe and encouraging space to explore how God restores what has been lost and how He promises to bring healing, renewal, and even greater purpose out of difficult seasons. Through guided discussion and reflection, we will talk about God’s faithfulness, the meaning of restoration, and how trusting Him can lead to a “double portion” of hope, growth, and blessing. We are not bible teachers or scholars we are here to do life together and learn from each other. Everyone is welcome to share, listen, and be encouraged.
What to expect:
1. Go over group guidelines
-We do encourage everyone to have their cameras on at least for some of the meeting, if possible.
-We are not bible scholars, we are here to facilitate a discussion, encourage, and build community.
2. Introduce each other
3. Scripture of the day
- Isaiah 61:7 (NLT): "Instead of your shame you will receive a double portion; instead of disgrace you will rejoice in your inheritance, and so you will inherit double portions in your land, and everlasting joy will be yours.".
4. Short video clip from Terri Sevelle
5. Discussion Questions:
a. Was there something that God restored in your life?
b. Why do you think God sometimes allows loss before restoration? What might He be teaching or shaping in us during that time?
c. How can trusting God during seasons of loss prepare our hearts to receive restoration without bitterness or pride?
d. What role does faith play when we haven’t yet seen the restoration God promises?
6. Prayer request and popcorn prayer
