We have a special social planned for November. We welcome one of Kingston's leading GIS practitioners to our social, Brian Mosley. Brian is a GIS Analyst with KFL&A Public Health (https://www.linkedin.com/in/brian-mosley-gisp-00a0a915/), he holds a M.A. Geography - Laboratory for applied geomatics and GIS research from University of Ottawa.

Brian will be giving us the benefit of his GIS expertise for is presentation, where he will be outlining the process of obtaining your GISP. Brian's presentation will focus on how to obtain your GISP. He will talk about the educational, professional and contributions to the profession requirements that are needed to obtain the GISP. He will also touch on how much time one should expect to spend on the application process. Finally, he will talk about the new test and portfolio requirements for a GISP (he did not have to do these for his). And of course, he can answer questions and give helpful tips!
