Queer Crafts Social
Details
Details:
Are you are artist, crafter or a maker? Would you like to socialise with like minded individuals for a couple of hours on a Thursday afternoon? Bring a current project to keep your hands busy and come along to the far end of John Lewis cafe to share experiences, tips and tricks.
This is event was conceived as ‘fibre-artist’ group, but we aim to be as inclusive as possible and support queer creatives of all flavours in Kingston and surrounding areas. So if you’re happy to turn up and talk about technique, process or the trials and tribulations of seeing projects though to the very end we look forward to meeting you.
Beginners and the curious minded welcome, but please be advised that this is a social not a workshop.
At present the Forum is not scheduling this event outside this time slot, but watch out for other craft workshops the Forum plans to offer in the coming months.
About your host:
Mags’ current main crafts are crochet, book binding and collagraphy-printing. They grew up in a house full of art graduates and will turn their hand to just about anything.
Please contact the host if you have any questions.
