Are you LGBTQIA+ and a Person of Colour? Do you want to meet others of similar backgrounds, in a relaxed and welcoming space? Look no further! During our QTIPOC-nic earlier in the month, the consensus was more outdoor events and more food!

Join Tash and Aaron for a trip to Kingston's Taste of the Caribbean Festival. Described as "Europe's largest food and drink festival dedicated to Caribbean food" , this is one not to miss! There will be lots of food and drinks to try, live reggae music, funfair rides, celebrity chef demos and a community bake off. Lots to choose from!

We shall be meeting at the festival entrance at 1pm, where we shall enter together. Please be punctual, so we can enter as a group.

Please note this event is ticketed. You can purchase a ticket here for £15 (Standard). Children go free (but must be accompanied by an adult). This event is family friendly. If costs are prohibitive , please let the hosts know.

ACCESS INFORMATION:
The event states there will be an accessible toilet, free water refills and event staff on hand to help, including medical and security staff. This is an outdoor event in a park, so grass and pavement may be uneven. Food and drink including water can't be brought in with you.

If you have any ideas for what you would like to see for local LGBTQ+ People of Colour, we will be more than happy to hear your suggestions. At each event, we discuss venues for upcoming socials, so please bring suggestions for us to vote on.

Nervous about not knowing anyone? Try not to be! You will soon be smiling and feeling more connected to community. We do exist!
