What we’re about
Kino Sydney is the home of local short (& often guerrilla) cinema.
Once a month we throw open our screen to local filmmakers to premiere new shorts (or revisit old ones). From documentary through to gorefest horror, when diving into a Kino screening it is best to expect the unexpected.
Our meetups and screenings include filmmaker Q&As, industry talks, nibblies, networking and popcorn. The screenings connect short films with audiences; filmmakers with filmmakers; and audiences with often madcap, always inventive shorts in a collective experience.
Make a film for Kino and we'll screen it, it's as simple as that. Anyone can do it, just go to our website for more details. kinosydney.comKino Sydney is part of the worldwide Kino network of filmmaking at www.planetekino.com.
