🥁 Young cinematographers and professionals with their own equipment can now register for our active film workshop, which will be held from September 11th to 21st in Lichtenberg, enabling numerous new short films to have their world premieres.
This festival produces its own program in two four-day rounds, from pitch to premiere at the Moviemento in Kreuzberg, Germany's oldest cinema.

🎪 The simple concept: We invite talents from all filmmaking disciplines to work together under time pressure and using only available resources to create the most poignant, presentable works in many genres. Instead of competition, we focus on collaboration and the joy of premieres. We will complement the event with master classes and seminars as additional treats.

📽️ Why should you register for this intensive course?
If you are looking for contact with international film talents (directing, screenwriting, cinematography, acting, sound, music, distribution) and a self-motivated community, you will find all of that at KinoBerlino. In addition, your own filmography and resilience to chaos grow. These films often tour festivals and enhance the participants' portfolios. The event's producer has been promoting independent film culture with a volunteer team for 21 years.

Since 2004, we have been activating and supporting the capital's non-commercial short film scene with KinoBerlino. We make films because we want to.
Many feasible scripts are waiting for curious crews to realize them in 2025. Fiction and documentaries are on the minds of directors. Many actresses have already been accredited.

The course fee depends on the production rounds selected.

Your profile: We open our workshop to people of all experience levels who can read and are stress-resistant and want to participate in intensive filming days. Previous experience helps, as long as it doesn't lead to unrealistic expectations.

Your equipment: All types of digital film cameras, lights, tripods, computers and props are allowed. Each person brings their own gear to support the teams.
