Powered by Kirby: Building a multi-site headless content platform

Kirby promotes itself as a content management platform rather than „just“ a CMS, but have you ever wondered, what that actually means? For the second episode of the Kirby NRW community meetup we welcome a guest who will tell you exactly that:

Georg Obermayr will show us a large-scale multi-site, multi-brand headless CMS setup for a MedTec company – yes, all of that in just one talk and all powered by Kirby underneath 💥

A lot of custom development went into that project, harnessing the flexibility given by the Kirby platform, like a story builder with live preview in the panel or an extensive content approval and governance workflow that has to meet regulatory requirements. All of that is integrated into a larger scalable marketing technology landscape, that comes with a set of requirements on its own.

Georg is technical evangelist at schalk&friends in Munich with over 20 years of experience in web development and digital publishing. He is a software architect and full-stack developer, focused on content management and publishing solutions.
