This workshop is designed for photographers who are comfortable with the usual features of the Nikon Z8 and Z9 and want to explore the exciting Auto Capture functionality introduced with firmware 4.0, and further enhanced with firmware release 5.0 in 2024. Whether you’re new to Auto Capture or already using it and willing to share your knowledge with other Z8 and Z9 users, this class offers a collaborative space to learn and grow.
We’ll cover the basics of setting up Auto Capture, which allows the Z8 and Z9 to automatically capture images or video based on motion or subject detection. You’ll gain practical insights into how this feature can be used creatively, especially when photographing sports and wildlife.

In this workshop you will have an opportunity to:

• Share your own experiences with the Z8 and/or Z9 and Auto Capture.
• Learn from others who have used the Auto Capture feature.
• Work together on Auto Capture hands-on exercises or problem-solving.

Requirements: Participants must bring their own or a borrowed/rented Nikon Z8 or Z9 camera. Let’s explore and share ideas in a supportive, hands-on environment!
