Kirkland Waterfront Low Light Portrait Photo Walk

Details
This beginner-friendly photo walk is designed to help you explore shooting in low light while also giving you the chance to get some amazing photos of yourself if you’re willing to be a model and step in front of the camera.
Bring whatever you like to shoot with—film, digital, mirrorless, or even just your phone. We’ll keep things simple, approachable, and fun, perfect for anyone looking to learn the basics of using natural light at the end of the day.
Also, wear water 💦🩴 shoes for walking on wet rocks and to step 🦶 into the water either as a model and/or photographer.
We’ll wander through Kirkland’s most photogenic spots—Marina Park, Heritage Park, and the lakefront—experimenting with shadows, glow, and reflections. Everyone will have the opportunity to both practice behind the lens and model for others, so you’ll leave with portraits of yourself as well as new shots in your portfolio.
