What kind of yoga we'll be doing:
I teach traditional hatha yoga with a focus on flow, allowing you to connect and strengthen your body and mind and release unwanted tension residing in your muscles. My aim is to have my students step off the mat better than they stepped on, feeling rejuvenated and a little euphoric, knowing they’ve nourished their bodies in the best way. My favourite pose is savasana so you will always get a juicy wind down before you leave.

My yoga classes always finish with a savasana, guided relaxation and Kirtan, mantra meditation.
$15/$10 concession
Yoga mats are supplied (BYO is optional)

About my journey:
Yoga and meditation came into my life when I was training hard for a body building competition. I went to to a remedial masseuse for muscle tightness who happened to be a yoga teacher.
“You need to come to yoga so you can stop paying me to fix you,” he’d say.

After a while I listened and attended his class. I didn’t have high hopes as I’d tried yoga a few times and found it unsatisfying and not enough of a “workout” but now I understand the importance of a good teacher.

I walked out of that first class knowing that was what yoga was meant to be. My body had never felt so amazing. I felt nourished, body and soul. And the end of the class, the teacher took us through a kirtan meditation which hit me straight in the heart and I knew this was the path I was meant to walk.

I’ve been teaching yoga and meditation for 4 years now and it still fills my heart with gratitude after every class.

I can’t wait to share this ancient knowledge with my students and bring them a moment of peace in this chaotic world.
