Proudly presents: Introduction to Sandtray Therapy with HRN Provider, Madison Gulli.

Sandtray Therapy is a form of experiential therapy. First documented in 1929 by Margaret Lowenfeld, MD. Sandtray uses the modality of sand and miniatures to allow the client to create a scene to tell their story. Sandtray therapy helps to counter defense mechanisms of intellectualization, eliminates block or being “stuck” in a dysfunctional process, develops a deeper level of insight, nurtures abstract thinking skills, assist client’s in gaining integration between the affective and the cognitive and between the conscious and unconscious. Any age client can benefit from the use of Sandtray therapy. To learn more please join me for an introduction into the use of Sandtray Therapy dates list below.

Madison moved to Las Vegas in 1998, and worked in Emergency Medicine for 12 years. The last 4 of those years she worked with a critical care helicopter transport unit. While she thoroughly enjoyed the medical community, Madison found herself mesmerized by how people’s thoughts dictated their emotions, behavior and ultimately their personal relationships.

Through her graduate studies and clinical work, she realized that the entire context of people’s lives must be considered when moving toward personal growth and relational harmony. She believes people need a strong foundation for life's ever changing ground. When working with clients, Madison
tends to lean towards the use of Family Systems Therapy, Cognitive-Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dr. Patti Britton's (http://www.drpattibritton.com/our-model/) sexual enhancement model. However, her primary concern is always connecting with her clients to determine the appropriate approach to help them reach their goals in lieu of forcing them to fit a theory or set of step-by-step instructions.

Madison practices Holistic methods of healing and is an avid supporter of the HRN utilizing the concept of Mind-Body-Spirt balance for wellness. We welcome her and her expertise to the HRN family.
