As a response to the burnout many people experience from dating apps and speed dating events, we’ve created KISMETRIX | True Connection to offer an alternative that focuses on meaningful, real-life interactions.
### Why KISMETRIX Was Born
After seeing so many friends and acquaintances frustrated by the superficiality and unrealistic expectations of online dating, I realized there had to be a better way. People are tired of swiping endlessly, getting caught in algorithms, or attending events that feel more like a numbers game than a real opportunity for connection.
Many of my friends have opted out of online dating altogether, seeking something more genuine. They crave an environment where they can meet others organically—where they can talk, laugh, and form real connections. That’s why I created KISMETRIX—to provide a fresh, authentic approach to meeting like-minded people in person.

Spring is here, and we thought it’s the perfect time to try something a little different — a fitness challenge walk together! This month we’re heading to the famous Kokoda Track Memorial Walk (1000 Steps) at Mt Dandenong — iconic, refreshing, and a great way to bond.### 📅 Event Details
- Date: Sunday, 19th October
- Meeting Time: 12:00 PM (for a 12:15 PM sharp start)
- Meeting Place: Carpark in front of Ferntree Gully Picnic Ground Toilets
- Location: Kokoda Track Memorial Walk (1000 Steps), Mt Dandenong
- Cost: Free — but registration is required to confirm your spot
### 🌟 What to Expect
- A supportive group of singles ready to meet new people
- Choice of two tracks:
- Kokoda Track Memorial Walk (1000 Steps) – a classic, slightly more challenging option
- Lyrebird Track – a gentler alternative at your own pace
- Rest breaks at the top and again at the bottom to catch our breath, chat, and regroup
- For the fit and adventurous: stay on for 2–3 rounds of the same tracks with us 🚀
- Plenty of encouragement, laughter, and conversations along the way
