Saturday Scenic Drive & Coffee Run - Kitchener, Waterloo, Guelph

Let's hit the road!

Be part of our very first event and help kick off our new community of drivers and explorers. To celebrate our launch, this inaugural drive is completely FREE to join. We've done all the planning—all you have to do is show up ready for a fantastic drive.

The Plan:

• 10:30 AM - The Meet & Greet: We'll gather at the Tim Hortons in St. Jacobs. This is the perfect chance to grab a coffee, introduce yourself, and meet your fellow drivers before we hit the road. We'll have a quick pre-drive briefing to go over the route.
• 11:00 AM - Wheels Up! We depart sharp at 11:00 AM.
• The Route: Departing from the heart of Mennonite country in St. Jacobs, we'll immediately dive into the beautiful country roads of Woolwich Township. Our route will follow the scenic path of the Grand River towards Elora, offering lovely views and enjoyable, twisty roads.
• ~12:15 PM - Mid-Point Photo Op: We'll pause our journey at a hand-picked scenic location, perfect for stretching our legs and getting some amazing photos of the cars and the scenery.
• ~1:30 PM - The Destination & Social: We'll cap off our drive at a fantastic local cafe in a nearby town, which will be our final destination. We'll park up, grab coffee and food, and socialize. The official, guided portion of the event ends here, giving you the freedom to hang out as long as you like or explore the town before heading home.

Note: The exact locations for our photo stop and final cafe will be confirmed with all confirmed attendees a few days before the event!
The Vibe:
A quick reminder, just like in our group description: We are a social club, not a race team. This drive is about enjoying the scenery, the road, and the company at a safe, relaxed, and respectful pace. All cars and all friendly drivers are welcome!
What to Bring / Important Details:

• Cost: This is a FREE event to join. Please bring money for your own coffee/food at our final stop.
• Fuel: Please arrive at the meeting spot with a FULL TANK OF GAS.
• RSVP: Please keep your RSVP updated so we have an accurate headcount. If you can no longer make it, please change your status to "Not Going."
• Route Info: A simple route summary will be shared with all confirmed attendees before the event.

Participation in this event is a voluntary and at-your-own-risk activity.
Driving on public roads comes with inherent risks, including but not limited to: traffic, changing road conditions, weather, and the actions of other drivers. By joining this event, you acknowledge these risks and agree that you are fully responsible for your own safety, the safety of your passengers, and the condition of your vehicle.
All participants are required to have a valid driver's license and valid, current auto insurance that complies with Ontario law.
As a member and event attendee, you agree to operate your vehicle in a safe and lawful manner at all times. This includes, without exception, obeying all provincial traffic laws, posted speed limits, and any instructions from the event organizers. Reckless driving, speeding, or any behaviour that endangers the group or the public will not be tolerated.
By RSVPing "Yes" for this event, you agree to release and hold harmless the event organizers from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action that may arise from your participation. This release applies to any loss, damage, injury, or death that may occur.
