Family Kids Day Aug. 1

Our Meetup Group has been invited by a local service club to help staff their upcoming Kids Day on August 1. You can also go just to have fun and meet people. Go for a swim or volunteer for a Saturday afternoon and contribute to a community event that draws close to a thousand people each year ! The event offers special activities for families in Kiwanis Park (Kitchener) that include musical entertainers, swimming, free snacks, food truck, games, etc. See photos below. There is a need for volunteers to supervise kids having fun in the bouncy castle, man the popcorn station or provide face-painting. Any popcorn lovers or aspiring face painters in our group ?!!

There is an admission charge for the swim area where all the fun will be, but the fee is waived for volunteers. If interested, please sign up for this event here on Meetup and look for the Meetup sign at the pool entrance. The rain date for this event is August 8.
