The Healing Forest

Join in the sharing of indigenous knowledge of medicinal plants in the Waterloo Region with the Knowledge Keeper himself. Elder Myeengun Henry will give a presentation at the new lodge on Columbia Lake in north Waterloo, followed by a walk in the Healing Forest to identify some key wild herbs firsthand. 410 Westmount Rd N, Waterloo, ON N2L 6P2. Elder Henry is an Ojibway chief appointed by the University of Waterloo to engage us in the history of our region.
