Flavors are products that are added to foods to give them a particular scent and/or taste. A flavor can consist of numerous flavoring substances, flavoring extracts, thermally obtained reaction flavors, smoke flavors and flavor pre-stages.

But as a food manufacturing start-up, how do I need to declare flavors that I use in the manufacturing process? What are the differences and what do I need to consider?
