OBX Kiteboarding Day Trip - THIS SATURDAY (Wind Dependent)

Let's hit the water! We're planning a kiteboarding day trip to the Outer Banks this Saturday, August 3rd.

Meetup: We'll gather in the Greenbrier/Chesapeake area between 12:30-1:00 PM to carpool or caravan down.

Location: Salvo Day Use Area, NC. This spot offers parking, bathrooms, changing areas, showers, and several small sandy beaches perfect for launching. It's a great place for beginners.

Conditions: We're aiming for SW winds between 15-20 knots. I'll make a final decision on whether to go by Friday morning based on the forecast.

Plan: We'll aim to arrive in Salvo around 3 PM, hit the water by 3:30 PM, kite for about 2 hours, and then head back.

About Me: I've been kiteboarding for about a year and can water launch/land, water start, and body drag. I'm eager to improve my upwind riding and carving.

Bring your gear! This event is for those who already have their own kiteboarding equipment.
