NOTE that this is not a singles only/dating event, it is an event to connect with others during a lonely time of the year for some. Are you on your own this year? You are welcome! Are you AND your partner lacking "couple friends" to spend time with? You are BOTH welcome!

We host these Meetups to provide an opportunity to make new friends and connect with people in your community! Bring your best self and come get out of your comfort zone ;)

Purpose of the group: The purpose of the creation of the group was to help people create more meaningful connections here in the "No Fun" city of Vancouver. I wanted for people to make long-term friends that show up, plan events together, will go to each others birthday parties, watch sports/attend concerts together, will text each other back, spend holidays together, and stuff like that to build a community of friends. Thank you for taking part in this goal of mine.

SAFETY RULES: This group is intended to be a safe, comfortable space to do group activities, and socialize with people. This is not a dating meetup group. Please do not hit on people (especially when they are new). Please only offer your number to people, don't ask for theirs. That way it's their choice if they would like to contact you. We also do not tolerate racism, sexism, homophobia or other forms of discrimination as well. If you are uncomfortable and feel someone has broken these rules, please contact one of the organizers.

RSVP Rules: Do not RSVP unless you are 100% sure you are going. If you violate this and do not show up, the organizers will remove you from future events that are hosted.

Furthermore, if you are marked as NO-SHOW/missing without any notice 3 times, you will be removed from the group.
Finally, if you miss an event where the organizer has had to rent a room or pay some form of commitment fee you will be removed from the group.
