Hike through an old growth forest from the shore of Lake Crescent to a lookout built to spot enemy aircraft during World War II. The hike is 6.8 miles roundtrip with 2750 feet of elevation gain and is rated “Hard” by WTA. CAUTION: This trail crosses a slide area. If you don’t like exposure, this is not the hike for you.

We will meet at the Park & Ride at 8 am and carpool from there. Bring your Ten Essentials and lunch. This hike is in Olympic National Park but no parking pass is required (there are no amenities at the trailhead). Pets are not allowed.
