Peninsula Wilderness Club Monthly Meeting & Presentation: Barred Owl Tracking

Details

The Peninsula Wilderness Club meetings provide info on the club, club events (reports on past events and what's coming up), and meeting other outdoor enthusiasts.

This month's presentation is on Barred Owl Tracking:
Barred Owls have made their way to Bainbridge Island, expanding from their original habitat in eastern North America to the west coast. Their presence is viewed as invasive, leading some biologists to suggest culling operations to help protect the native spotted owl population. Join us as Jamie Anker present the Motus system and owl banding research.
