Little River Hike

Enjoy this delightful trail in Olympic National Forest and Olympic National Park. Begin at 1100 feet and hike up, down, and all around as the trail ambles down to a lovely little river. We’ll cross many well-built bridges, with plenty of photo opportunities. Stop to snap a shot of mushrooms, waterfalls, and old-growth trees that reside in the park.

While this trail is 8 miles long and ends at Hurricane Hill, I’m planning on 7 miles roundtrip with 800 feet of elevation gain. We’ll stop and turn around before we get to the serious climbing.

Bring your Discover Pass (the trail starts on Dept of Natural Resources land), 10 Essentials, and lunch. I hike in all weather and will not cancel unless conditions are unsafe.
