What we’re about
We are a group of young professionals dedicated to helping children in the Charlotte community and around the world. We meet once a month for happy hour to network, socialize and discuss our upcoming service projects. On average, we have 3-5 service opportunities per month, and members can take part as they are able.
In October 2011, Kiwanis Uptown became a satellite group of the Kiwanis Club of Charlotte. Founded in 1919, the Kiwanis Club of Charlotte is the second oldest Kiwanis chapter in the Carolinas. With a combined membership of 75 and growing, Kiwanis Uptown and the Kiwanis Club of Charlotte continue to impact the Charlotte community and beyond.
