Global Day of Coderetreat 2020 - Auckland (Pushpay)

This year's Global Day of Coderetreat will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2020!

Pushpay is considering hosting this event again this year, but it depends on a couple of things:

• Current covid level: we will only proceed if we're still in level 1
• Interest: we need a minimum number of people to attend for us to be able to run it

Note that it will be held in person at the Pushpay office, but we will have QR codes displayed for contact tracing purposes.

Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea provided by Pushpay.

This event is currently limited to 30 people, so get in quick!

Whats coderetreat again?

Coderetreat is a day-long, intensive practice event, focusing on the fundamentals of software development and design. By providing developers the opportunity to take part in focused practice, away from the pressures of 'getting things done', the coderetreat format has proven itself to be a highly effective means of skill improvement. Practising the basic principles of modular and object-oriented design, developers can improve their ability to write code that minimises the cost of change over time.

Hundreds of cities will be taking part, and video calls will traverse the globe as groups say hello to other cities and welcome each other to an amazing day spent working on improving our fundamental development skills.
