Global Day of Coderetreat 2023 - Auckland (Pushpay)

This year's Global Day of Coderetreat will be held on Saturday, November 4th 2023!

What's coderetreat again?

Coderetreat is a day-long, intensive practice event, focusing on the fundamentals of software development and design. By providing developers the opportunity to take part in focused practice, away from the pressures of 'getting things done', the coderetreat format has proven itself to be a highly effective means of skill improvement. Practising the basic principles of modular and object-oriented design, developers can improve their ability to write code that minimises the cost of change over time.

Cities all over the world will be taking part, and video calls will traverse the globe as groups say hello to other cities and welcome each other to an amazing day spent working on improving our fundamental development skills.

So whats happening?

This is an in person event held at the Pushpay office in Auckland - lunch and refreshments are provided by Pushpay! Come along with your laptop, and a desire to practice the craft of coding.

This event is currently limited to 30 people, so get in quick!
