our gatherings are cozy, unconventional, and co-created by the kizuna community. they include larger structured events, deeper, more committed ‘circles’, and chill spontaneous hangouts. we engage with light & deep topics, explore our curiosities, and spend quality time together to cultivate authentic and meaningful connections — or 'kizuna' (絆).
our community is an accepting, supportive environment for all ages and backgrounds where you can be yourself, free of judgement. we kindly ask that you commit to upholding our community agreements about creating safe spaces together before joining an event.

🎃 spooky stories: a night picnic to chat about our relation w/ the paranormal
Yoyogi Park, 2-1 Yoyogikamizonocho, Shibuya City, Tokyo 151-0052, Shibuya, JPfrom family tales of ancestors watching over us to strange happenings we can’t quite explain, each culture holds its own way of relating to the unseen.
do you believe in ghosts? does your culture tell stories about the afterlife? or maybe you’ve never really thought about it — either way, come share your stories and listen to others! we’ll explore how different upbringings, beliefs, and experiences shape our sense of the supernatural.

this topic can touch on (among other things) strong personal beliefs, spirituality, religion, and loss. our goal isn’t to debate what’s “real” or “not,” but to listen with respect and curiosity; to understand how these unseen worlds live in our cultures and imaginations.🔍 details

for the sharing, we’ll first break into small groups and follow some questions around the topic that we’ve thoughtfully curated. however, you’ll be free to share anything on your mind related to the topic. at the end of the event, everyone will get the chance to share to the whole group.keep in mind: we aim to be a safe, brave, zero judgment space where you can share authentically and deeply listen to others. this it not a dating meetup, nor a philosophical debate. by joining this event, you agree to follow kizuna's community agreements.
by joining, you also consent to being photographed and/or filmed, which may be used on our social media. if you want to opt out, please let an organizer know on the day.
💸 participation fee & payment
pay-what-you-want (minimum ¥500) on arrival. either cash or paypay is fine 🙆♂️ this includes light refreshments, and helps support our running costs.📍location
