this gathering is the first in a series of 6. it is part of kizunas “circles” concept, which are small, high-commitment groups that gather for 6 weeks in a row around specific themes.

🪦 memento mori: confronting death and finitude 🪦

the death of ourselves and everything we care about is, arguably, the most critical fact about our entire existence. it is a subject explored extensively in religion, culture, art and literature. and yet, in our secular modernity, death has taken a back seat for many of us, as though it is no longer relevant or something that we need to worry about.

in this circle, we will bring the idea of death back into our collective and personal consciousness. we will give ourselves the opportunity to reflect on death, confront its implications, and explore how we can, want, or should relate to it in our lives. we will be tackling the subject of death mainly through discussion, but also through a variety of other practices such as making art, visiting cemeteries, meditating, and reading.

📅 this circle will meet every tuesday 19.00 - 21.30 for 6 weeks
