Businesses have always had tremendous power to shape society. And with great power comes greater responsibility. As environmental and social pressures mount, it's no longer enough for companies to simply do less harm. The most forward-thinking businesses are asking how they can actively contribute to a world that works for people and planet alike.

This is where credible, balanced, and science-based frameworks are essential to turn intention and goals into meaningful action, moving sustainability from aspiration to accountability.

The Future-Fit Business Benchmark is an open-source methodology designed to help businesses build a better world. Rooted in systems science, it translates what we know about how our economy must be transformed, to meet everyone's needs and live in harmony with nature, into practical principles, goals, indicators and guides that any business can act on.

This May at the Green Drinks KL Forum, we will be joined by Martin Rich, Founder of the Future-Fit Foundation, who will share about his Benchmark as well as reflect on the positive green shoots of recovery emerging internationally for sustainability, following the pressures of 2025, and how the market is repositioning itself.

We will also hear from Sharath Martin, Senior Policy Consultant, ACCA, Asia Pacific and Trustee, WWF Malaysia, whose work sits at the intersection of finance, sustainability and governance, who actively advocates for businesses to go beyond profit maximisation and become active voices for climate action and long-term value creation.
