Backpack prep class

Let’s gather to discuss backpack prep. This will occur at my house; sign-up to receive address. Attendees will have an opportunity to practice water filtration, try out tents, sleeping bags and stoves. I will provide handouts and lead a discussion. Topics will include packing the pack, trail meal prep, gear comparison, trip planning and best practices. This class is appropriate for first time packers, folks returning to trail after a break and those with only a few trips completed. A one-night trip will be announced soon.
