Rye Spur Trail (and more) Volunteer Work Weekend - SAVE the DATE!

Save the Date for June 28-29 Rye Spur Trail Work Weekend
This year we want to bring even more volunteers and partners together to maintain 18 miles of multi use trails including hiker, stock, mountain bike, nordic ski and snowmobile trails. These trails are located between/near Highway 140 and Fourmile Lake Campground.

We tentatively have 10 project areas and need at least 50 volunteers! Projects include the entire Rye Spur Trail, Badger Lake Trail, Twin Ponds Trail, Billie Creek Nordic Trail, and Rye Spur Pit and East Fourmile Snowmobile Trails. There's a trail for every user and a task for every ability level.

Participants must sign a Volunteer Agreement, follow safety instructions and use Protective Equipment (provided), and Chain saw operators must be FS Chain Saw Certified. We will be able to recert a small number of expired sawyers. Contact Heather for more information regarding recert at hberghikes@gmail.com

We'll work all day Saturday, have a camp out at Rye Spur Horse Camp, then work half a day Sunday. We look forward to seeing you there!
