MSAC 60th ANNIVERSARY DIVE TRIP SIPADAN ISLAND, MALAYSIA ON 9 - 16 November 2019

The trip will include guided dives to sites on Mabul and Kapalai. We will stay in Mabul Beach Resort and dive with Scuba Junkie, a multi-award winning PADI 5 star Instructor Development Centre with a strong focus on marine conservation.

Anniversary, our club will be organizing a trip to Malaysia’s premier dive destination, Sipadan Island. Located in the Celebes Sea off the east coast of Sabah, Sipadan was formed over thousands of years as living corals grew on top of an extinct volcano. The island plunges over 2,000 meters straight down to the sea floor. Sipadan lies in the center of the Indo-Pacific basin, one of the richest marine habitats in the world. Strong currents sweep past the island, making it a converging point for an entire marine food chain. *Non-diver rates are for room and board only. Children aged 5-11 years are charged at half the rate of adults. Snorkeling can be arranged at the resort.

All packages include room, board, and boat transfers to dive sites. All dives are guided dives with an experienced scuba dive master.

Payment Terms:
50% of total trip cost to be paid as a non-refundable deposit to book a place on the trip.
Balance 50% will be paid on 9th October 2019.

Boat Transfers:
18 dives package (15 Non-Sipadan + 3 Sipadan)
230pm transfer from Semporna to Mabul. Your arrival flight must arrive no later that 1230pm in Tawau for you to make this transfer.
1030am transfer from Mabul to Semporna. Your departure flight must leave no earlier than 300pm from Tawau for you to use this transfer.

24 dives package (18 Non-Sipadan + 6 Sipadan)
800am transfer from Semporna to Mabul. You may have to spend the night of 8/11/2019 in Semporna to catch this early morning transfer.
400pm transfer from Mabul to Semporna. The earliest you will be able to fly is at 1030am the next day (17/11/2019).
