Kepayang Hill in Seremban lies squeezed between the North-South Highway and the Seremban-Bukit Nenas Highway. It has two temples at the summit ridge, which in fact can be reached by a tarred road.
However, the local community has built a network of 30+ short trails, most of which can be combined to a decent hike and a very good workout.

The patches we stitched together will offer you quite some steep up- and downhill sections. Here and there are ropes in place.

Shortcuts, for those who do not pursue all up- and downhills, are possible when you consult the topographic map on your device.

The total distance will be around six kilometres for the full loop. Several trails and shortcuts cross each other, so you will have to diligently follow your gpx file.

IMPORTANT: Make sure you have a gps navigation app (like ~in alphabetical order~ AllTrails (paid version), Gaia, Hiiker, Komoot, [Maps.me](http://maps.me/), OSMAnd, Wikiloc,...) installed on your phone and make sure that it is working properly. If you don't have an app installed yet, we suggest to use OSMAnd or Hiiker to start with. Once you have downloaded the offline map of Malaysia, you can easily import and navigate any gpx file. More info can be found in the Knowledge Base sub Event Information (general) - How to prepare myself for navigation...?

Do not come to the venue if you have not pre-installed a gps navigation app at home, or have not downloaded the map of Malaysia at home, or have not opened the test gpx file at home. Every week, we notice that too many hikers arrive just before the event starts and are absolutely not prepared which is jeopardising the scheduled timing of the event. Especially iPhone users are urged to make sure that they can open the test gpx file at home and are able to navigate.

This is a self-guided hike. You will receive a gpx file at the trailhead and you will have to navigate yourself. There will be no paper markers. For those who are not familiar with gps navigation, you will be guided but still have to use your own navigation app on your phone.

By 12:00 pm all hikers should have reached the car park again.

Do note that the indicated meet-up time is not the time you should arrive at the meet-up location. It is the time that the hike effectively starts. The QR code for the gpx file can be scanned at the trailhead from 08:30 am onwards. You can start your hike at any time between 08:30 am and 09:00 am.

All details can be found in the Knowledge Base.
