Morning Hike At Klipriviersberg Nature Reserve

Details
We hike at Klipriviersberg Nature Reserve in Kibler Park, south of Johannesburg, on the first Sunday of every month.
Klipriviersberg is one the most beautiful nature reserves in Gauteng. It is also one of the biggest in the province at more than 700 hectares and the highest point at 1785m.
Join us for a moderately paced hike where I will be showing you how to navigate your way through some of the many trails found in the reserve.
We will stop at certain points to determine whereabout we are in the reserve and learn how to follow the right trail that will lead us to our required destination.
The goal is to show you how to navigate your way in any nature reserve and avoid getting lost.
We will also take some time to watch the beautiful natural scenery such as the stream that runs in the middle of the reserve; the birds; animals and take pictures.
It will take us about 3 to 4 hours at most to finish the hike. It's wonderful and the views are amazing!!π€Έπ½π
Time: We meet at 07:30am.
Venue: We use the entrance at 129 Peggy Vera Rd in Kibler Park.
Meeting Area: When you're at the main entrance you will be facing the main building with a thatch roof. Walk through it. When you get to the other side you will see tables and chairs under a tree, that's where we meet.
Fee: Free.
What to Bring:
β At least two bottles of waterπ«π§.
β Snacks, fruits. Hiking can make you hungry. If you eat salty food while you're hiking you become very thirsty. It's best to bring something juicy. πππππ«
β A camera, to capture and share the great memories.
β A hat. It gets hot, you need a hat. ππ§’
β Wear comfortable tekkies, (about a size bigger) and thick socks to protect your feet, particularly your toes.ππ§¦
β Wearing comfortable clothes will make the hike more enjoyable.
