What we’re about
One Thursday early evening every month, we will meet. Everyone is welcome. You can bring something to knit or crochet and you can also bring some of your favorite yarn to show everyone. If anyone knits for charity, let everyone know and we can bring yarn to donate if you’d like.
The yarn I will bring is a yarn that I am using on the project I am working on. I have a yarn business so I will also bring the yarn in some color options in the case anyone would like to buy the yarn. Often times, people will ask me ahead of time to bring a certain type of yarn that they may need so that they can look at it before they buy it.
I also have the NJ Knit Along group that meets on Sundays. This group provides an additional time option as well for those of you who cannot make it on Sundays.
Knit’s Fabulous used to be a local yarn shop that my mother worked at and then eventually owned. It closed when she became ill and ever since, I have been keeping the business going without the actual storefront using Meetup, Friends, my website, Amazon, and Walmart’s website, I like to meet the people who buy the yarn which is why Meetup provides me so much joy. I also enjoy meeting others, making new friends, and spending some time with people.
