This yarn excites me so much. There are so many patterns for yarn with it’s gauge. The color is quite popular. It sells for $24 but for this one night, we’ll go down to $20 each.

I’ll bring a hood I made with it and the pattern. It takes two skeins to make it.

150g (5.29oz) - Single ply slightly felted with a twist - 90 yds (82 meters) - 100% Merino Wool - Hand Wash, cold water, dry flat.

Rasta in Spanish means “dreadlock” and is also how Spanish refers to a very thick cord like this yarn. A lightly-fulled single-ply yarn of magnum proportions! Whip out a super-cozy accessory in just hours with this super-sized delight of a yarn. Premium Uruguayan merino is just as soft as ever, and Rasta comes in a range of our unique “watercolor multi” colorways as well as a rainbow of semi-solid basics. Unbelievably squishy, this is the yarn to turn to when you want the ultimate in warmth (or the ultimate in speed!)

Great for: Quick knits, textured stitches, hats, cowls, scarves, outerwear.

If you are coming, please bring something to show off if you have or something to work on. But don’t worry. You can always start something new.

Also, I will bring some donation yarn in case any of you knit for charity. We will start a list of what charity our group members knit for. With your permission, I will write about it on my website so people from across the country may send knit donations as well.

If there is a plus one on my RSVP, it is a friend of mine who also was very close with my mother and is an excellent knitter. If more friends choose to join us, I will adjust my RSVP.
