☕ Welcome to the coziest corner of Turku! 🧶
Are you passionate about yarn crafts? Whether you're a seasoned knitter, a crochet enthusiast, or someone just embarking on their crafting journey, this group is the perfect place for you. We come together in the beautiful (though sometimes cold and lonely) city of Turku to share our love for knitting, crochet, and, of course, enjoy good company and a warm cup of coffee!
☕ What do we do?
We craft and chat! We often meet in local cafes (recommendations are always welcome), where we enjoy our crafts alongside some coffee and conversation. Bring your current project, seek help with those tricky stitches, or start something new with fellow crafters. Beyond crafting, we're a community. We support each other, celebrate our achievements, and share our stories.
☕ Who Should Join?
Anyone with an interest in knitting, crochet, or just socializing over coffee! All skill levels are welcome, from beginners to experts. Even if you've never held a needle before, we're here to help and inspire.
☕ Note!
This is NOT a workshop, so formal teaching sessions aren't provided. Some days, we might have an experienced knitter in attendance and other days, you might find yourself with a so-so-knitter like me 😂. However, I believe everyone is always willing to assist each other with those tricky bits!
Please bring everything you need for your project. We won't provide needles, yarns, etc., but I'll always have some basics on hand, such as scissors ✂️ and a measuring tape 📏.
Our meetups will likely be in coffee shops, so be ready to order a drink!
As the first event location, I decided on a cute little cafe shop with amazing cakes, near the city center. Limited seating so please join ASAP :)
