Buddhist Meditation: A five week course to transform your life
Details
"Meditation is way too hard! I just can't do it!" - does this sound familiar? Tried some of the meditation apps and still not having much success? Why not learn in-person from experienced Buddhists?
On this Buddhist Meditation Essentials course you’ll learn two fundamental meditation practices that lead to positive states of mind. These are practices that are scientifically proven through the ages to enhance a greater sense of well-being, enable you to feel more connected with those around you and give you the tools to cultivate peace and contentment from within.
As part of the course we'll have:
- Led meditations, suitable for you whether you're totally new or have some experience meditating
- Buddhist teachings and practices which you can apply to your everyday life
- Home practices to deepen what you’ve been learning during the sessions
- The chance to get to know other people on the course, ask questions and discuss your progress
Everyday Saturday for five weeks (10am - 12.45pm) starting on Saturday 23rd September, running until 21st October 2023.
What to expect:
People who have previously done this course say they feel more emotionally positive day-to-day and (finally!) more able to sustain a regular meditation practice.
An experienced team:
Organised and led by a team of experienced Buddhist meditation teachers. Jay and Livia regularly teach meditation at the London Buddhist Centre, particularly for beginners.
