A critical need in today's business world, for women entrepreneurs is to build and promote their brands. It is not just the company's brand or the product brand, it is
also the personal brand that makes a difference, because any business needs interactions with other people, and relationships make or break the business. Building a recognizable brand not only helps you to get exposure to new opportunities, it helps you to build who you are and who you want to be in the future. It helps you to build a vision of you and project that vision successfully to the external world.
eMERG is happy to announce it's upcoming event centered around the theme of Personal Branding, with some expert speakers to help build your personal brand, exciting activities to explore this theme and some soulful networking.
91springboard, the coworking partner, and Maharashtra Economic Development Council (MEDC) have partnered with eMERG in bringing this event to you.
MEDC is an “Investment Facilitator and Development Catalyst” for the State of Maharashtra - a unique, apolitical and autonomous research organisation working proactively with State Government, Business and Industry, Educationists, Professionals, Bankers, Economists and other leading stakeholders on vital issues of economic development.
91springboard is a coworking community that thrives on collaboration amongst members while offering workspace solutions that suit the business’s specific needs. It plays an integral role in helping the organization grow and is dedicated to making work life easy and fun.

About eMERG :
eMERG (the Engineering Manufacturing Entrepreneur Resource Group), is a not- for-profit organization dedicated to training and the dissemination of information to women entrepreneurs and professionals. In its efforts in this direction, eMERG partners with several government and non-government departments in order to reach out to women entrepreneurs who can be part of the growing community of Women in Technology, Business, Professions & Services.
eMERG was founded in 2006 in Bangalore by 7 enterprising women who wanted to give back something to the society. Currently eMERG has close to 300 members. It's Mumbai chapter was launched in September 2016 with the support of Intel Corporation, a multinational giant and leader in technology.
As a not-for-profit organization, eMERG works to provide women a platform to showcase and develop their business and talents. eMERG regularly conducts networking events, supplier meets and training programs for the members, which provides them opportunities to learn, meet potential buyers and connect with other like-minded entrepreneurs. eMERG organizes trade delegations nationally as well as internationally which provides excellent exposure for new opportunities. Currently it is in the process of setting up a 300 acre incubation facility in Harohalli, near Bangalore for women start-ups to set up their businesses.

eMERG Mumbai chapter, is committed to serving the women entrepreneurs community of Mumbai and towards it this will conduct several events and programs in 2017 to bring the best in learning, networking and growing their businesses. It is also in the process of forging partnerships with other non-profit bodies to serve the community better. Recently it has partnered with Maharashtra Economic Development Council (MEDC), to bring more visibility and access to government and various industries to benefit it's members.
