Norwegian Police Knowledge Graph: How to save lives through shared understanding

Details
The Norwegian Police is all about protecting human beings, fighting crime, and adding light to difficult cases. This is managed through many valuable datasets stored in different formats and systems. Would it be possible to understand our data better, and even save lives if our data was linked together and optimized for reuse? This talk is for developers and everyone else who wants to understand Semantic Web and Data Mesh concepts for achieving exactly that.
Team Knowledge Graphs at the Norwegian Police IT Unit have started a journey to explore how to make data a first-class citizen of our ecosystem. In this talk we will share our data-centric approach on saving lives through building meaningful data products and generic applications. By listening to this talk, you will learn how we are working to transform the Police into a data-centric organization.
As a developer, you will learn how to reduce application complexity and build knowledge that will outlive the lifespan of any application that you will ever build. Not convinced? I will present how it can be done through real use case examples from our work at the Norwegian Police.
