Vocabs Editor and Taxonomy Publishing Ecosystem

In the first ISKO UK Meetup of 2023, Peter Andorfer and Klaus Illmayer from Austrian Centre for Digital Humanities will discuss Vocabs Editor and the taxonomy publishing ecosystem based on Skosmos.

Peter Andorfer is a research software engineer at the Austrian Centre of Digital Humanities and Cultural Heritage (ACDH-CH) at the Austrian Academy of Sciences. At the ACDH-CH, he was involved in several third-party-funded digital-humanities projects. With a PhD in History from the University of Innsbruck, his research interests include the crafting and publishing of digital editions as well as establishing digital workflows for research. With Klaus Illmayer, Peter Andorfer took over the maintenance and development of Vocabs Editor from his former colleague Ksenia Zaytseva.

Klaus Illmayer is a research software engineer at the Austrian Centre of
Digital Humanities and Cultural Heritage (ACDH-CH) at the Austrian
Academy of Sciences. At the ACDH-CH, he was involved in EU-funded digital infrastructure projects PARTHENOS and SSHOC and is currently taking part in EOSC Future (https://eoscfuture.eu/) project. With a PhD in Theatre, Film, and Media Studies from the University of Vienna, his research interests include the digital documenting and archiving of cultural expressions - especially theatrical events - as well as data modelling (ontologies, vocabularies) and establishing digital workflows for research.
