Brushy Mountain through Grotto Falls

Brushy Mountain via Grotto fall’s trailhead on roaring fork nature trail out of Gatlinburg. Roughly and hour and a half from Knoxville to get there.

About 6.5 miles round trip. Says 1700 ft total elevation gain and out and back taking 3.5 hours. I’m allowing for more time than that. The views from the top are great if you have not been. We will stop at Grotto Falls for a break on the way In and also perhaps the way out. If the falls is all someone wants to do thats fine as well, i will hike in with you and continue on.

Parking can get tight so I encourage carpooling, I have room for a few and can meet up to give anyone a ride. Perhaps afterwards we can get in a round of mini golf or something, I’m always open to ideas.
