Adam Alfrey at Bat: A discussion of the local history of baseball
Tuesday, May 13 | 6:00 p.m. | Maple Hall (414 S. Gay Street) | presented by Knoxville History Project
Knox County Public Library’s Assistant Director of Historical Services and East Tennessee History Center jack-of-all-trades, Adam Alfrey is the speaker at this month’s Maple Hall lecture hosted by our friends at the Knoxville History Project. Adam co-curated the new Home Runs & Home Teams exhibit at the East Tennessee History Center, a fascinating look at the history of baseball in Tennessee. He’s also an organizer of the local Vintage Base Ball League, and a retired player for the Holstons.

Free program. Food and drink available for purchase.
