Tai Chi Push Hands at Lakeshore Park

Details

Wear comfortable fitting clothes and shoes; we'll spend time engaging in push hands for learning and fun.

The way Tai Chi tests and improves that quality is with games called Push Hands. Push Hands Games are gentle, easy to learn games that are fun to play, and they build internal power. Push Hands is the cornerstone of true Tai Chi!

This is the perfect event for anyone interested in Tai Chi. If you've been doing forms for years and have seen results come very slowly or not at all, you need to come play with us. If you are just starting out in Tai Chi, these games will give you the real-world feedback you need to eliminate bad habits right away and shave years (even decades) off of your training time. Practice doesn't make perfect, perfect practice makes perfect!

We seek to promote a fun and engaging atmosphere of learning. Our Games are meant to build skill and internal power, not to be a tournament-style competition. Everyone is welcome regardless of skill level. Whether you are new to Push Hands Games or an experienced player, you will learn a game you can play for the rest of your life that will build your internal power and sensitivity.
