A COMMUNITY FOR ARTISTIC AND CREATIVE PHOTOGRAPHY.
Welcome to The Art of Photography International! Our purpose is to spark creativity, open new doors, incite discussion and learn from each other in a positive and sharing environment. The program is designed to facilitate the merging of the principles of art and graphic design with excellent camera craft. To take each one of us no matter what level of experience to places, levels and worlds that are out of our comfort zone. Our review/discussion programs, our photo shoots and educational sessions are free. Your submissions for discussion are for you to choose without regard to theme or genre. However, because we are a public group, we ask that you refrain from submitting photos of nudes or with sexual content. We recommend uploading photos at 72 dpi, with the longer side 2048 pixels. If there is significant added content in your posted image that did NOT come from your camera, please leave a comment identifying the AI software used.
To cultivate artistic discernment and good sportsmanship and encourage focused creativity, we hold a monthly themed, contest judged by founder Jack Wild. He selects one winner and several honorable mentions. Every event photo shoot has a challenge with one winner.
The Art Of Photography began as a Museum Art School program in 2002 and has expanded to over 19,000 members worldwide, so many of whom have grown into exceptional photographers that are hugely represented in international award shows. We are truly excited for your participation and look forward to your development as creative and artistic photographers.

SAT 8/15 at 2 pm - LIVE Photography Review & Discussion

This is monthly series is designed for more experienced photographers. Discussion will bring to your attention how to make your photographs more artistic.
Sessions are open to the public. Seating is limited to 16 Total. If we see that demand exceeds supply, we will try to offer more sessions with different attendees.

Metered garage and street parking are available.

How to Attend/What to Expect:
- Click the Attend button.
- Bring a PC-readable thumb drive (aka pen drive, flash drive, USB stick) with three (3) JPG images in a separate directory for quick access.
- Arrive a bit early because WE CANNOT GUARANTEE SEATING.
- Time permitting, we will project everyone's images on a large monitor and discuss them.

Instructions to Submit a Photo for a Zoom Session
✅ Go to The Art of Photography International, and click on the relevant Zoom session under Upcoming Events. Then scroll down to find the Welcome screen.
✅ Upload only ONE photo to the Session album AFTER you see the “Welcome …” photo slide (AFTER 5 pm on Sunday and BEFORE the day of the Sat/Sun of the Session).
✅ If you don't see a Welcome screen, you are either on the wrong page or too early to submit for the upcoming session.
✅ You must be attending in order for your image to be reviewed during a session.
✅ A maximum of 30 photographs will be considered for review as time and content allow.
✅ Following the sessions the albums will be deleted after 5 pm on Sunday. If you wish to save your image and comments move your photo to the PHOTOGRAPHERS OPEN FORUM album.
