Chicagoland International Folk Dance
Join us for an afternoon of International Folk Dance from 1–3:15 p.m. at The Gymnasium at Grace Lutheran Church. Experience lively traditional dances from around the world—circle, line, and partner formations set to music from diverse cultures. Each dance is taught and walked through beforehand, so no partner or prior experience is needed.

We recommend bringing your own water bottle. If you bring snacks to share, we suggest they be bite-sized and easy to eat neatly.

(***Stay after from 3:30-6 pm if you would also like to participate in English Country Dance!)

Admission:
To help cover the cost of the hall rental, the suggested donation is $5 per person. If we have live music, we may request $10 per person.

Getting There:

Building Entrance:
The entrance to the gymnasium is at the front of the church. Walk up the ramp and through the single door. An elevator is to the immediate left. Take the elevator the second floor and walk through the double doors to enter the gymnasium.

Parking Information:
Parking in the church parking lot is usually full. There is ample street parking available, and 1 block west of the church on Pennsylvania Ave there is a public parking lot named "Schock Square".

Metra:
The Glen Ellyn Metra stop is a short 5-minute walk from the venue. Currently, a Sunday train (Union Pacific West line) departs Ogilvie at 10:40 a.m. and arrives at 11:27 a.m. Return trains depart at 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Chicagoland English Country Dance
Join us for Chicagoland West English Country Dance (ECD) from 3:30-6 p.m. at the The Gymnasium at Grace Lutheran Church. English Country Dance is social and pattern-based, with a caller guiding each dance—similar to Contra and barn dancing. No partner or experience is needed; all figures are walked through before each dance.

We recommend bringing your own water bottle. If you bring snacks to share, we suggest they be bite-sized and easy to eat neatly.
