Meet My Music: Virtual Studio Hang
·온라인온라인Step into the creative pulse of the HOME community. This is your chance to get connected!
Meet My Music brings artists, producers, and industry supporters together to share work, exchange ideas, and spark new collaborations.
What you’ll experience
Creators play what they are working on, talk through their process, and hear perspectives that help move their craft forward. HOME’s A&R Team keeps an ear out for original songs that could lead to sync or publishing opportunities. Original work carries priority because that is what our industry partners can champion. AI assisted ideas are welcome for discussion, though they are not always usable for those types of deals.Submitting your track
Anyone who attends can submit a streaming link (no videos, link preferred over file sharing). Rough ideas and works in progress are encouraged. Whether you are testing a new direction or sharing something close to finished, this is a chance to be heard and get thoughtful feedback. Or if you just want to say something or show off your studio, that is fine too!A note on music sharing
Share time is limited. Not every submission will make it into the session, and the queue fills quickly. Stay with us even if your track is not selected. Listening to peer projects strengthens your own development and keeps our creative ecosystem thriving. This event will be led by HOME's A&R Team, a specially skilled committee who select Homies to participate in collaborative writing sessions and make music that is valuable for sync licensing.
Please join this event HERE.Due to protective measures, we've moved these meetups into our HOME community app. Once you click through to join us, you'll be asked to create your FREE Account in the HOME App to join the hang! See you soon!
Here's a little bit about this week's host and HOME A&R Coordinator:
Pal Sheldon is the founder of Artec Sync, a company that showcases a hand-selected, diverse catalog of songs curated from a global team of artists and writers. Each song is individually chosen, and Artec's in-house writers and producers also create custom music for briefs.Recent sync placements include: Grownish on Hulu/Disney, Ruby and the Well on BYUtv, and two songs in Anora - an indie film and Palme d’Or Winner at Cannes 2024.
Pal is known for building strong relationships with artists and music supervisors, driven by the belief that a great song will always find its place to shine. Artec actively seeks new songs to represent, welcoming submissions from artists worldwide.

Women's Music Industry Support Group: The Enneagram
HOME - Helping Our Music Evolve, 615 Main St g1, Nashville, TN, USYou chose this industry because something in you had to. But somewhere between the hustle and the heartbreak, the ambition and the exhaustion, it can get hard to remember exactly who that person is and what actually drives her.
This month, we're spending time with a tool that a lot of people find genuinely useful for that kind of clarity: the Enneagram. And we have the perfect guide. Katie Oliveras is a certified Enneagram coach and working artist who has spent years helping creative women use this framework to better understand themselves and build more sustainable lives.
Not as a personality quiz. Not as a label to hide behind. As a mirror. The Enneagram is one of the more nuanced frameworks for understanding how you're wired. How you make decisions, what motivates you at your core, what you look like under pressure, and where your default patterns might be quietly working against you. In an industry that asks so much of you, understanding your own operating system isn't self-indulgent. It's strategic.
We'll talk about what the Enneagram actually is and how to read your results honestly. We'll explore what different types tend to look like in creative and professional environments — where they thrive, where they spiral, and what they need that they don't always ask for. And we'll open it up to share what resonates, what surprises us, and how this kind of self-knowledge can change the way we work, collaborate, and take care of ourselves in an industry that rarely slows down long enough to ask.
If you haven't taken an assessment, it's worth doing before you come. The most accurate results come when you answer as you actually are, not as you want to be or think you should be. Answer from your gut, not your aspirations. Think about how you behave when no one is watching, or when things get hard, not your best days. Use your “young 20s” mindset…how you respond as an adult, but before you make your responsive decisions.
### 👉 Take the Enneagram assessment here.
Come with your results, your questions, and whatever you're carrying right now. You don't have to have it figured out to walk in the door.
As always, all participants are asked to sign a confidentiality agreement. What's shared in this space stays in this space.ABOUT KATIE
Katie Oliveras is an artist and Enneagram coach who is passionate about helping others better understand themselves and create more balanced, meaningful lives. She is the artist behind EverSōl, a dark and moody music project with placements in documentary and reality television.
After being introduced to the Enneagram during premarital counseling in 2021, Katie was immediately captivated and went on to study it deeply, becoming a certified coach in 2022. As an Enneagram 9, she especially loves helping creative women and couples slow down, find clarity, and reconnect with a sense of rest in the midst of full and often demanding lives. Music City Networking
HOME - Helping Our Music Evolve, 615 Main St g1, Nashville, TN, US>> It's back.
Music City Networking returns after a hiatus, and if you've been around Nashville long enough, you already know what this event feels like. Good energy, real conversations, and the kind of people who show up because they actually care about how they participate in the music industry and how they are building their careers.
This isn't just a newcomers event. It never was. Sure, if you just landed in town, this is one of the best places to get your footing fast. But some of the most valuable connections in this room happen between people who have been here for years and finally end up in the same place at the same time. A collaborator you didn't know you needed. A project that's been missing exactly what you do. A conversation that turns into something neither of you saw coming.
Artists, producers, entrepreneurs, industry professionals, music tech folks. Everyone is welcome and everyone has something to bring. Come ready to introduce yourself, ask something genuine, and offer something back. That's the whole formula.
Ages 21+. BYOB welcome. Complimentary refreshments available while supplies last. Plenty of great spots nearby if you want to grab dinner before or keep the night going after.
This event is open to the public. RSVP now and show up ready to build.
Music City Networking is presented by HOME - Helping Our Music Evolve, the Helping Music Foundation, and YEP - Young Entertainment Professionals. The event will take place in the HOME Facility; a 24/7 collaborative music hub with recording studios, rehearsal space, a live performance stage and coworking areas.
The Young Entertainment Professionals network creates a platform for the entertainment industry to thrive in a supportive and creative environment for the betterment of its members as well as the industry as a whole through networking events, showcases, mentorship and educational development.
